In 1997, I didn’t care for my job and began searching for something more fulfilling in life. I went into the bookstore and purchased every magazine I could find that had held my interest. I have always been fascinated by subjects regarding alternative medicine so I picked up a beautiful, glossy Aromatherapy Quarterly magazine. There was a full page ad about an aromatherapy program through the Aveda Corporation. I lived close to Minneapolis, so I got more information, applied and completed the program. I am now a certified aromatherapist and love the options it gives me. This is a story of “ask and you shall receive”. Keep searching for what the world holds for you and you will find it.

“Don’t Give Up On A Dream”
I have always felt different energies as I walked into a room. I could tell if an argument had just taken place, or if there was peace and harmony in the room. I never thought about it too much; until I read a tiny article in a Body, Mind, Spirit magazine regarding Feng Shui. Feng Shui is the Chinese art of placement and it talked about energy flow and how it can feel balanced, stuck or stagnant in a room of a house or office. This really rang true with me and I pursued the topic. When it came time for me to change jobs; I never forgot about Feng Shui and I decided to study it. There were very few programs in the country at that time to teach it; but just as I was looking a certified Feng Shui Consultant decided to begin a teaching program. I applied and was accepted. I have enjoyed every minute of helping others achieve balance and harmony in their homes and businesses through Feng Shui. Never give up on something you feel strongly about; it is part of who you are.

“Alternatives to Diuretics”
When I was 13, I developed a problem with swelling throughout my body and the doctors could not figure out why this was happening. The Mayo Clinic diagnosed it as Idiopathic edema, and said there was nothing I could do about it. Idiopathic edema is swelling for no apparent reason. I am now 53 and I have taken diuretics for 40 years to deal with the swelling. I recently decided to purchase an infrared sauna as my research showed people talking about how it reduced their swelling after heart surgeries. I was a bit leery, not sure that it would work in my case, but I am using the infrared sauna everyday and it has been helping. The type of sauna that I have allows me to lie down and keep my head out of the direct heat. This works well for me and is very relaxing. Finally after all these years I am off the diuretics completely. – BRB Minnesota
“Revisit the Past”
I have gone through past life regression and have found it to be very beneficial. This allows you to revisit things from the past and clear up problems that you didn’t even know existed. I felt much better and have healed a lot of issues regarding the death of my mother.
